Bank of America Merrill Lynch has joined other big banks in establishing private placement units to service pre-IPO companies.
Nils Erdmann, the former Twitter head of investor relations who had helped manage the company’s pre-IPO stock trading, has joined former NYSE chief executive Duncan Niederauer at San Francisco-based private stock secondary trading startup Battery East LLC, DealBook reports.
