OTC Markets has issued a notice to cannabis social media company MassRoots that there were promotional activities encouraging investors to purchase shares and that it may have had an effect on trading activity.
On May 3 the Securities and Exchange Commission sent out letters to companies who had failed to file their 1-K annual reports this year, reminding them they were supposed to file.
The filing, an abbreviated version of the traditional 10-K filed by larger companies, requires audited financial statements and a management report discussing year-to-year performance along with a complete update of the company’s business, ownership and executive staff.
YiLoLife, Inc., a company providing management services and other support to the legal medical marijuana (MMJ) market, has announced its plans to raise $16.4 million through a Regulation A+ public offering, followed by two additional Reg A rounds in the future.
The selling broker for Med-X’s Regulation A+ offering has quit, citing the late filing of the company’s 2015 annual report, which resulted in the suspension of the offering by the Securities and Exchange Commission in September.
