Guggenheim Securities Hires Griffiths

Guggenheim Securities has hired Brian Griffiths as a senior managing director. Griffiths will focus on advising companies across the technology industry and will commence work at Guggenheim in June. The addition of Griffiths broadens the reach of Guggenheim Securities’ investment banking capabilities dedicated to the dynamic and fast-growing technology sector. Griffiths is currently a managing director in the Technology, Media and Telecom Group at Credit Suisse in New York and previously was the co-head of European TMT and Head of European Technology at Credit Suisse in London.

Stifel Hires Devitt and McCarthy to Research Unit

Stifel Financial Corp. appointed Scott Devitt as a managing director, with a focus on the Internet sector. The addition of Devitt further solidifies Stifel’s position as the leading provider of Information Technology research, as measured by StarMine. Devitt will bring more than 15 years of covering the Internet sector, including the last five years as managing director at Morgan Stanley. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Devitt was a managing director at Legg Mason and then Stifel.

Ironwood Gold Raises $1M in Conv Debt Deal to Fund Acquisition

Ironwood Gold Corporation (IROG) announced that it has raised $1,000,000 in a Convertible Secured Promissory Notes transaction. The fixed conversion price of the Convertible Secured Promissory Notes is $0.18 per share. A series of 180,000 72-Month Warrants with an exercise price of $0.22 per share was issued to the investors in this transaction. Issuer counsel was Jolie Kahn, Esq.. The closing of the Private Placement is subject to certain conditions including the closing of the Company's purchase of 100% of the issued and outstanding capital stock of Wilderness Way Adventure Resort, Inc.
